Welcome to Sharron Wright!
NorWest Community Health Centres- Longlac Site welcomes Sharron Wright to its Longlac Site healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner. Originally from a small town in Jamaica, Sharron recently relocated to Longlac from North York, Ontario with her family. As a graduate from York University with a Masters of Nursing Science in PHCNP, she provides compassionate, comprehensive and holistic care for the entire family.
Sharron brings six years of nursing experience to her practice, previously employed as an RN on the Nurse Resource Team, at the Humber River Hospital—a major acute care hospital in Toronto. She worked in various complex care units including cardiology, surgical, and the emergency department. She completed her Nurse Practitioner placements at the Humber Summit Medical Centre and The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, recently receiving her Emergency Certificate.
Our Nurse Practitioners serve as a Primary Health Care Provider, seeing clients for issues such as injuries and acute illnesses, assessing and treatment clients with chronic health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, providing pre-and post-natal care, and working with other inter-professional care team members.
Sharron is accepting new clients for both in-person and virtual appointments. Please call the Centre for more information.
