Self-Management Programs
Our free self-management workshops are here to help you feel more confident and in control. Whether you’re living with a long-term condition, supporting a loved one, or just want to make the most of your next doctor’s visit, we have a seat saved for you.
What to Expect
-
Core Programs: Our 6-week series (Chronic Disease, Diabetes, Chronic Pain, and Cancer Thriving & Surviving) meet once a week for about 2.5 hours. We recommend attending all sessions to get the full benefit, but we know life happens—it’s okay if you have to miss a week!
-
Quick Sessions: Our 90-minute “Getting the Most from Your Healthcare Appointment” workshop is perfect for those looking for immediate, practical tools for their next clinic visit.
In our workshops, you will:
-
Meet in a supportive group: Connect with others who truly “get it” in a friendly, welcoming space.
-
Learn new skills: Find practical ways to handle pain, stress, fatigue, and “brain fog.”
-
Set your own goals: Create simple, personal action plans that actually matter to your life.
-
Get real support: Share successes and trade helpful ideas with the group.
Best of all? You do not need a doctor’s referral to join, and every program is 100% free.
🎁 We value your time: We know committing to your health takes effort. When you complete a full 6-session workshop series, we’ll provide a $25 grocery gift card to help you put those healthy eating goals into action!

Driven me to stay on an active healthy routine
I really like writing my action plans every week!
It helped me in keeping my health as first priority and doing some extra to be healthy.
I found the workshop to be a welcome and educational distraction to my everyday life. It gave me great skills in dealing with pain, emotions, physical fitness and healthy eating skills.
