Care Bus

The Care Bus provides a safe space to warm up, talk to an outreach worker, and get to your destination. It operates daily in the winter months from 1:00PM to 9:00PM, with expanded hours (9:00 AM to 9:00PM) during extreme cold weather alerts (-25 °C). The bus is free and transports people throughout the city to needed services, with no time limit on rides. Using a low-barrier, harm reduction approach, the Care Bus meets riders where they are, offering support as needed. Harm Reduction Outreach Workers are also available to provide health education, referrals, triage basic health needs, and assist with emergency or crisis situations.
