NorWest CHCs Community Wellness Hubs are healthcare services available to residents living within TBDSSAB housing sites. We deliver support where people live and feel most comfortable.
- Walk In Clinic
Routine check-ups, immunizations, wound care, screenings, etc.
- Health Referrals
Connecting clients to the right health specialist or support service.
- Community Connections
Food access support, mental wellness, health & social programs.
Why it matters
The NorWest CHC–TBDSSAB partnership improves access to health care, reduces emergency department use, increases connections to mental health, income, housing and food supports – building stronger, healthier housing communities.

Social Prescribing

Residents can expect:
- Weekly activities and programs onsite
- Food supports such as: The Good Food Box, Market Greens, Roots Community Programs, RFDA and food banks
- Referrals to: smoking cessation, diabetes health, chronic disease management programs/services, and counselling
- Cultural Care referrals: Sharing Circle, Spiritual Care
- Transportation support for medical appointments
