Cancer Thriving and Surviving Self-Management Program (TBPL)

Navigating life during or after cancer treatment comes with unique physical and emotional challenges. Whether you are actively in treatment, recently finished, or supporting someone who is, this free, 6-week virtual workshop is designed to help you regain control and figure out your “new normal.”
What to Expect: This is not a medical lecture. It is a highly interactive, peer-led workshop where you will connect with others who truly understand the cancer journey. Over 6 weeks, we will focus on practical, daily skills to help you thrive:
-
Managing Symptoms: Dealing with treatment side effects like fatigue, pain, and sleep issues.
-
Emotional Wellbeing: Navigating difficult emotions, stress, and the fear of recurrence.
-
Communication: Getting the most out of your healthcare appointments and communicating your needs to family and friends.
-
Action Planning: Setting small, achievable weekly goals to safely rebuild your energy and regain your quality of life.
The Perks of Joining: Because this NorWest CHC program is fully funded, it is 100% free to attend. Plus, as a thank you for investing in your health, you will receive:
-
A free copy of the official reference workbook to keep.
-
A $25 grocery gift card upon completing the 6-week series to help support your healthy habits!
Family members, caregivers, and support persons are highly encouraged to register and attend alongside you.
